We are happy to work with cats and their families to ensure their special handling needs are met.
We are skilled in handling cats who may be anxious or stressed in a new environment or have special behavioural concerns. We use low-stress techniques to interact with our feline guests; however, cats who have a history of being severely human aggressive may not be a good fit for us.
We are not able to take cats with contagious diseases or who have chronic health issues - these cats will do best in their own homes or at your veterinary clinic.
We supply everything but your cat's regular food.
We are happy to supply sanitized bowls, bedding, litter and boxes, and treats. For cats staying five nights or longer, we provide a cardboard scratcher for your cat to use in their suite and take home after their stay with us.
We are familiar and comfortable with feeding raw, canned, dehydrated, kibble, or whatever your cat normally eats. If you would like to include more than one non-veterinarian prescribed supplement, please pre-measure them into baggies or containers for each meal.

Cats may try to escape or become stressed during check in, if they aren't familiar with visiting new places and meeting new people.
To allow us to safely get cats into their suites as easily and as stress-free as possible, we require all cats arrive in their own carrier, as opposed to on a leash or carried.
Cats who will are booked in for the door-to-door service must be kenneled prior to their scheduled pick up time, to help us stay on our very tight pick up schedule. Should we arrive to pick up your cat and she is not kenneled already and is not budging from under the bed, we may have to reschedule your pick up for another time or day, so that we may be on time for our following appointments.
We require current vaccines for Feline Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia, and Rabies, with no vaccines given, for any reason, in the TWO WEEKS prior to your pet's stay. It is the owner's responsibility to keep their cat's vaccinations current. Although we keep track of vaccination expiration dates, we are too busy caring for our guests to send out notices that a vaccination is about to lapse. We reserve the right to cancel a reservation, without notice, if a vaccination has lapsed at time of check in.
